Please help my friends

Throughout the world there is cultural globalization besides economical. But the Maasai people I met with still live in line with their ancestors' culture. Which should remain this way. At the same time they realized that isolation is not the way for them and they do their best to keep up with the cilization besides keeping their culture and emphasise the importance of education.

The community supports education in various levels:
(i) the older smart boys are sent to boarding;
(ii) a community school is ran upto 2nd class only; and
(iii) they educate the women in the school on a voluntary basis .

In the last two years the community suffered a lot from draught (majority of their cattle died). This resulted in financial problems and the community was not able to support the boarding students and the school either. The community is supported by a Dutch foundation which welcomes donations. In case you feel like assisting those for whom besides water, electricity, gas, etc even education is a luxury, please visit the following website.
