Our personality has a need for security. As a human in a material world, we need money to survive. If we don’t have enough for basics, our lives cannot function. At the same time, with too much emphasis on the material, we loose the spiritual awareness that brings meaning and fulfillment. The key lies in the balance.
What draws most of your attention, time and energy: spiritual growth or money?
Think it over. You should just balance this two things. Without spriritual growth you do not fulfil the meaning of your life, you just earn money to earn money, to feed your kids and travel later to places you wanna go to. If you only focus on spiritual growth you dont have anything to live from, and you can starve as you dont earn any money as you can see on some spiritual teachers who didnt write bestseller books. yet.
So you should keep in mind earning some money to fulfill your basic survival needs besides focusing on your spiritual growth. Dont work in a place which kills your soul as you cannot spend any time with it, but still earn enough money to feed yourself and the ones you should take care of.
